MEMBER COMMITTEES
GET INVOLVED!
Member Committees exist to offer direction for operationalizing WFU policy, and provide additional support for programming, direction, and strategy. The committees are also helpful spaces for members to hear from and give updates to WFU staff and other chapters of topics of interest. Each committee has a specific area of focus and meets about once per month - learn more below!

CLIMATE COMMITTEE
The Climate Committee creates and advises on policy related to climate change, soil health, climate mitigation and adaptation, and greenhouse gas emissions. Notably, the Climate Committee developed the language for WFU's Climate Change Special Order of Business.
During the committee meetings, staff share updates on climate-related activities within WFU and members discuss partnerships, advocacy, and county chapter news.
