Wisconsin Farmers Union recognizes and respects that nature is a living ecosystem with inherent rights that should be protected by law. The value of the natural world does not derive only from its usefulness or economic benefit and not just as a “resource” that can be owned, used, and even destroyed.

Tara Greiman
Tara leads the Department of Conservation & Stewardship in service of Wisconsin Farmers Union members. She facilitates WFU's member-led Climate, Water, and Energy committees and manages the organization's conservation projects.

Northeast Conservation Coordinator
Erin Lenninger
Erin is working with farms and other partners in Northeast Wisconsin to connect small, mid-sized, and underserved farmers to conservation resources. She also supports county chapters in Northeast Wisconsin.

Northwest Conservation Coordinator
Becky Brathal
Becky serves as the Watershed Coordinator for Producer-Led Watershed groups in the St. Croix and Red Cedar River Basins. She also works to connect farmers in Northwest Wisconsin with other conservation resources.
